Mickey 17 is an upcoming science fiction comedy film written, directed, and produced by Bong Joon-ho, based on the 2022 novel Mickey7 by Edward Ashto. Mickey 17, starring Robert Pattinson, is set to premiere at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival in February 2025, before being theatrically released by Warner Bros. Pictures in South Korea on February 28, 2025, and later in the United States on March 7.

When one version of him, Mickey 17, survives a dangerous mission on the frozen planet Niflheim, he finds himself in conflict with his own replacement, Mickey 18.
The lead actor, Robert Pattinson, is an English actor known for starring in both major studio productions and independent films. Pattinson is among the world's highest-paid actors. Bong Joon-ho, who wrote the screenplay alone for the first time, spoke at a press conference in Seoul about the delays in his upcoming film Mickey 17, claiming that they were caused by Hollywood strikes rather than problems with edits or studio conflicts. Bong also shared his desire to write stories that feel uniquely human, ones that AI could never replicate.
